This is just a quick sketch I did after pulling over on the side of the highway just outside of Monte Rio. Dutch Bill Creek is unbelievably beautiful with all the maples a bright lemon yellow right now. There were a million paint-worthy subjects out there, but I really liked the dry creek wrapping around this tree.
